Event Description:
Join us for a full day of fire, clay, and community in Lisbon, Maine. Celebrate the art of Raku during Maine Craft Weekend with live kiln building demonstrations, hands-on Raku firings, and the chance to witness clay transformed by flame and smoke. Whether you're glazing and firing your own work or just stopping by to experience the magic, there's something for every craft lover. Workshops, demos, food, and fire all day long! (Rain date: October 5th)
Pass Description:
Gather your crew and fire together. This group pass covers up to 4 participants and includes firing for up to 20 bisque fired pieces total. Share the kiln, swap techniques, and enjoy a collaborative experience rooted in flame, smoke, and community.
Your group will also receive observer access to the Raku kiln building course.
All glazes and reduction materials will be provided. If you’d like to bring additional materials please consult before arriving.
